Lughnasadh Edition: Planting Times

Here on the homestead, I decided to dedicate to Lughnasadh my list of common veggies, when they can be planted in zone 8b, what they are beneficial with and what they can't be planted around. We try to do companion planting whenever we plant our raised beds. Still lots to do before winter. Enjoy your planting!

June 2023 Planting Guide – Zone 7/8

According to many sites, the Willamette Valley is considered Zone 8, or more specifically 8b. I know for a fact that where we live in the foothills of the Valley (at roughly 400ft elevation) we have enough of a micro-climate to be better off following the Zone 7 guidelines.
